WORK WITH ME

WRITER, CAMERA OPERATOR, EDITOR, Facilitator

I have been making films since 2013, when I made my first short film in Paris whilst working as a Technical Assistant at Sony Films. I have honed my skills with the National Film and Television School, Four Corners, St Martin’s School of Art and MediaBase.

As a facilitator of groups learning to make films and write creatively, I have been employed by BFI Academy, amongst others.

I have also worked as a coordinator, producer and researcher - so my organisational and research skills are top notch.

I work with the inimitable Blackmagic 4k Cinema Camera and the Rode audio mics.

I work with sought-after filmmaker and colourist, Steve Atkins, whose work you can view here.

When you book a call with me, we’ll discuss your business, your goals for the video, budget, timeline, location, deliverables, and any requirements you may have - location, set dressing, any actors or extra crew (eg. hair and make up, additional camera…).

I’ll send you a quote based on our conversation, with a rough timeline of the shoot(s) and edit, including time for you to feed back and approximate date of the final versions, as well as my Terms and Conditions.

If you’re happy to go ahead, you’ll sign and return the contract and pay a deposit (around 25% of the total cost). If you need to change the date of your project, you can do this once before losing the deposit.

Pre-production for the shoot on my end looks like creating storyboards, writing shot lists and hiring any extra kit I need. Pre-production for you may look like finding actors or presenters, learning lines, preparing a location and hiring props or furniture (this can all be discussed).

Production days are long - but they go by quick! I do everything in my power to consolidate filming in a time-effective way.

I’ll keep you updated on the edit, send versions to feed back on (if we have agreed this), and deliver always to deadline and via the mode you prefer (online, hard drive, in person).
